They are pedigree registered and from a healthy fully MV accreditated flock. The older sheep are scrapie genotyped, genotypes of parents available for all lambs. We have a breeding flock of just over 25 ewes originally purchased from a range of breeders including some from top show flocks.  This is an attractive Dutch breed of sheep, they are a docile breed, can be used as dairy sheep due to their milkiness. Easier lambing due to their conformation being narrower at the front. They make a good crossing sheep adding frame size, milkiness, prolifacy and fast growth rates. The lamb produces a high quality lean meat, and an attractive skin if tanned. The fleece is valued by hand spinners and feltmakers. Prices are mainly in the range £125 - £250,  with discounts offered for 5 or more sheep purchased. We also have a limited number of tups available very reasonably price, some unrelated to the ewes for sale so a complete starter flock could be purchase. Delivery may be possible depending on location.
